The Project: The Chelsfield estate is located on the corner of Brompton Road and the retail hub of Sloane Street. This area in Knightsbridge is one of the capitals most upmarket residential and retail areas and alongside the West End is classed as one of two ‘international centres’ in London.
The project, headed by Skanska, seeks to reinvigorate, restore and celebrate this iconic London landmark which contains classic characteristics of the Knightsbridge area with its red gabled brick façade. This will be retained and where missing or significantly altered, restored creating a continuous frontage that runs the length of the Brompton Road. The vast scheme includes enhanced street level retail space, new offices, residential apartments with a secluded rooftop garden and a restaurant offering panoramic views of the area.
Our role: Roseville Projects London Fit-out division have been awarded the development and fit-out of No’s 37 to 49 of Brompton Road and the former fire station situated on Basil Street. This extensive fit out will form the clients site accommodation which will be inhabited during further phases of the project. By engaging our services through our ‘Single Point’ unique business model, our client will receive expert trade specific services with the addition of a construction management team. It is imperative that all operations relating to the project are executed with a superbly proficient approach with as minimal impact as possible to the inhabitants, retail outlets and hotels of Knightsbridge.
