The Lighthouse Club – Construction and Mental Health

The Lighthouse Club

As you may have read previously, Roseville and The Rose Charitable Foundation have chosen to support the Lighthouse Club. The only charity that provides emotional and financial support to the construction industry and their families. As a cause very close to our hearts, it was an easy decision to choose the Lighthouse Club, the work that they do is second to none and there isn’t enough support in this area.

As part of our first incentive, we have gone to print with business cards that will be provided to all of our employees. The card includes the 24/7 helpline number for the Lighthouse Club, encouraging our team that it’s good to talk and to share their feelings and definitely not suffer alone. The cards will be distributed throughout our employees and hopefully have a further reach to other contractors working along side us on projects. We’re really trying to push the message that it is okay not to be okay and here is what you can do, people are willing to help you and here’s how. We’re hoping to help as many of those in the Construction Industry as we can, so if you’re a Contractor and would like to know how you can get involved, support, or even just supply the cards to your team so that your workforce receives a card then please do get in touch on enq@roseville.co.uk.

After all, in Construction, the workforce is what makes it all happen and we’re really eager to ensure that they get all the support they need and feel like they have somewhere to go if they are having a tough time. That is what the Lighthouse Club is all about.
